On a perfect Summer’s afternoon 26 entrants took part in the Midsummer Event Bowls Drive. The event was won by guest bowler Trevor Stannard, a regular short mat bowler, but someone who had never played competitive lawn bowls, maybe this might encourage him to take it up !
After the event an additional 6 people tucked into Anne’s usual meat pie meal which was well received.
