Members & friends got into the ‘Christmas Spirit’, at the club’s fun party and panto, (“oh no they didn’t, oh yes they did”). Written and narrated by Veronica, a group of members (with many last minute understudies taking part due to sickness of the original cast) performed in a fusion of ‘Goldilocks & the 3 bears meet Aladdin & Prince Charming’ !!!!!!
In Bears’ Cottage, Spixworth near Catton woods, Baby Bear wished for a brother to play with, so she made a wish, and Aladdin appeared with his magic teapot to grant the wish. The genie in the teapot was stuck in the Rose & Crown, but his magic still worked !.
Two dwarfs (now identifying as Elves) were lost and needed to know their way back to Hainford, who would help them ?
Goldilocks finds Bears’ Cottage and while they are out on a bear hunt for treats, Goldilocks eats the bears’ porridge and falls asleep in one of their beds, she is frightened when they return, and she runs into the woods.
Prince Charming just happens to be looking for a wife and hears that there is a ‘pretty maiden’ in the area, on meeting Goldilocks, he persuades ‘her’ to join him in his castle, and they all lived happily ever after.
