The annual Roy Allen pairs competition started a week late due to adverse weather. The number of teams that entered this year was lower than in previous seasons, but seven pairs took part.
Each team played the other pairs over the three evenings, with the winners being John White & John Wade, and the runners up were Steve Blanch & Peter Betts.
