A Members only bowls drive with a red, white and blue theme (to celebrate belatedly The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee which had to be cancelled at an earlier event due to bad weather) saw 23 players taking part with John White emerging as the overall winner, Rod Back as runner up and Dee Wilkinson in third. The winner of the ‘best dressed’ competition was David Fulcher with a fantastic hat to go with his outfit.
Everyone brought a plate of food to share with others, which provided a superb feast for all.
The tombola with a guaranteed prize per go was very popular with all.
