A total of 33 players dodged the heavy showers to take part in the last fun bowls of the season. The team consisting of Beris, Peter & Marian, and enthusiastically assisted by their grandson Archie, emerged as overall winners. Runners up spot went to Ann, Veronica, Pat Gormley, Sue B & Sue P.
A ‘chip shop’ tea was enjoyed by players plus some spectators, and Scooby Doo even made an appearance at the tombola, much to Archie’s delight.
