Lee Trophy – 8th September

Twenty seven people were placed into nine teams of three to compete for the Lee Trophy on a warm September Sunday afternoon.
Each team played a total of four games, each game consisting of five ends against a different opponent.
Two points were awarded for each game won, one point for a draw and nothing for a loss with shot difference to be taken into account in the case of a draw.
The trophy was won by a block consisting of Beris Blanch, Pat Gormley and John White scoring a total of 7pts and a shot difference of 14.
Runners up were Roy Osbourne, Diane White and Mark Watkins also with a total of 7pts but with a shot difference of 7.
Afterwards everyone sat down to a lovely buffet provided by all the players.
