The Lee Trophy which was due to be contested on 7th September was replaced by the final Fun Bowls Event of the season due to it’s popularity which took place on Saturday 6th September.
The weather was perfect and saw 53 people taking place in a variety of challenges which tested the skills of complete non-players to the most experienced of players.
After 3 circuits, the winners were Team 11 which consisted of Val Smithson, Doris Hilling, Peter & Veronica Fisher, Peter Betts & Jack Steward who amassed a score of 5450
After playing everyone sat down to a bring and share feast of savouries & sweets.
