Over the weekend of 21st and 22nd September 2025 St Peter\u2019s Church in\u00a0Spixworth held a flower festival to celebrate \u201cOur Community Spirit –\u00a0 Caring and Sharing\u201d.
Many of the village organisations were invited to show through flowers, pictures and words the part they play in the village and community life .
Spixworth Bowls Club were one of those invited to join in, and two of our members, Diane & Veronica, took up the challenge; they were given an area using the stairs up to the Church Tower to decorate, and they put together a wonderful display using flowers in our club colours, together with memorabilia and photographs of club functions. Our bowler, Big Bertha, not only raised many smiles and nice comments, but also hopefully raised awareness of the club’s existence. Great result, well done ladies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
